HIGHER BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities: Perform asphalt paving and road construction tasks according to project specifications. Operate and maintain asphalt equipment, including pavers, rollers, and other machinery. Assist in the preparation of work sites, including clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring safety measures are in place. Lay asphalt to the required thickness and ensure proper compaction for durability. Repair and patch damaged roadways, sidewalks, and driveways. Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and tampers to finish surfaces. Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and timelines. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements: Proven experience as an Asphalt Road Worker or similar role. Knowledge of asphalt materials, mixtures, and application techniques. Ability to operate and maintain asphalt equipment and machinery. Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
