About the role The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is seeking an Area Manager with exceptional leadership capabilities to lead and oversee our Laverton North and Dandenong branches, both of which are experiencing significant growth in operations and production capacity for reinforcing bar processing. In this multi-site leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations while managing the sales channel in the commercial bar segment. As a proven leader in operations & sales management, you will have the ability to optimize processes for maximum efficiency and drive exceptional sales performance. The priorities of the role include: Senior leadership of operational, distribution and sales teams, promoting a high-performing culture. Lead and execute plans to achieve operational excellence. Champion a strong safety culture. Oversee a sales team of two Business Development Managers to achieve customer growth in the commercial bar segment. Coaching and developing team members. Collaborate with other Area and Regional Leaders to identify areas for continuous improvement. P&L, EBIT & financial reporting responsibility. You will be a strategic leader with an innovative mindset, proficient in problem-solving and effective communication skills. As an Area Manager, you must prioritise fostering a strong safety culture, emphasizing customer focus, and demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach. To be successful in this role you will also be able to demonstrate: Strong background in operational management and leadership. Successful track record in leading sales teams and driving growth. Industry experience within reinforcing, building products, construction or industrial manufacturing. Implementation of a high-performance culture across multiple branches.
