Supporting the State Operations Manager, the Area Manager ensures efficient service delivery and effective management of all sites in N/NW Melbourne.
Through leadership and coaching of the Repair Centre Managers and their teams, the Area Manager is responsible for the financial and operational performance and profitability across multiple sites.
Join the WINNER of the Best Workplace (MSO) - Paint and Panel Shop Awards 2024 Reporting to the State Operations Manager - VIC, the successful candidate will be tasked with driving effective outcomes across multiple sites in the North/Northwestern suburbs of Melbourne.
You will ensure the sites you are responsible for continue to make positive contributions through alignment and delivery of organisational outcomes and standards, contemporary leadership & coaching, employee engagement, and accurate reporting reflecting the metrics and results for your region.
Further, the Area Manager will support the building and maintenance of business relationships including liaison with insurers, suppliers, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
Regular travel between sites within the N/NW of Melbourne will be required, in addition to occasional interstate travel.
To be considered it's essential you have: Demonstrated leadership ability within a service-based industry.Previous Panel Shop management experience, including Estimation and Production processes (minimum 3 – 5 years)Proven commercial and financial acumen.Previous experience managing P&L.Developed problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Planning and organisational ability in order to be definitive and meet tight deadlines.Ability to deliver, analyse and action divisional reports.Does it sound like this role is for you?
