We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our Leadership Team as an Area Coordinator within our Forrestdale Primary School, leading staff teams in Middle and Upper Primary (Years 3-6). This unique role combines hands-on leadership within a specific year group with broader collaboration across our Primary Leadership Team, supporting the Head and Dean of Primary in embedding our values, vision, and mission throughout the school community.
About the Role Commencing in January 2025, this position consists of 0.8 FTE Classroom Teaching and 0.2 FTE Administrative Duties. Our Area Coordinators play a vital role in serving as examples of Godly leadership, embodying our values of courage, respect, integrity, humility, and kindness. With responsibilities across Administration, Leadership, and Stakeholder Engagement, the Area Coordinator will lead their team with both excellence and a servant heart, creating an environment of collaboration, support, and shared growth. Duties include but are not limited to:
Lead by example, modeling best practices in education and pastoral care.Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative team culture.Manage team meetings, preparing agendas and documenting actions to ensure alignment and accountability.Support staff accountability processes and assist in policy and compliance reviews.Maintain excellent communication with staff, parents, and students, supporting a high level of satisfaction and trust.Represent our values and mission to the wider community, fostering relationships and a positive school culture.About You You hold a current registration with TRBWA along with teaching experience.You have strong organisational skills and can manage time effectively, even under pressure.You possess exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, listen to, and support your team members.You are proactive, growth-minded, and collaborative, with a commitment to continuous learning.You demonstrate proven leadership capabilities, show empathy, and maintain a professional approach to confidentiality.Join us in a role that offers the opportunity to shape young minds and influence the future of our students and school community.
