Want to kick-start your career, or aspiring to return to the workforce? Warrnambool City Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Arboriculture Trainee to gain hands-on experience while assisting with the maintenance and health and safety of trees in the Warrnambool Municipality. The successful candidate will be afforded the opportunity to work alongside the Tree Management crew while also studying a nationally recognised qualification.
The successful candidate will:
Assist in the maintenance of trees, gardens, horticulture, environment, and other municipal maintenance activities.Have a sound knowledge of OH&S requirements inclusive of, but not limited to safe operating procedures, safe work method statements, and risk assessments.Be passionate about working outdoors in the environment.Be willing to work across a range of areas in the Depot Operations as directed by the supervisor.To Apply:
