Your responsibilities will include guiding and mentoring Lifeguards and Learn to Swim instructors while upholding work health and safety standards and operational compliance.This role is crucial for maintaining a high level of public safety.
Your exceptional customer service skills will be vital for engaging with patrons, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.Responsibilities:Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the Aquatic Programs run efficiently and meet customer's needs.Maintain effective and collaborative relationships with local Councils.
Ensure prompt resolution of customer feedback to continually improve processes and services delivered.Provide team leadership and supervise the performance of direct reports by setting work objectives, assessing performance and providing feedback, development and coaching to develop staff capabilities and meet work objectives.Staff recruitment, rostering and front end management of contract agreements, position descriptions, employees' correspondences.Train and induct staff to ensure that knowledge and capability are at the required levels to enable staff to carry out their work and achieve their objectives.Ensure reporting and facilities standards are in line with contract requirements.Qualifications & Experience:Solid understanding of work health and safety legislation, evacuation and emergency proceduresProven experience in managing plant rooms and pool operationsFlexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekendsCurrent First Aid and CPR certificatesNational Police CheckWorking with Children Blue CardCurrent Pool Lifeguard Certificate (willingness to obtain if not already held)Current Pool Operations Certificate (willingness to obtain if not already held)Current Learn to Swim Certificate (willingness to obtain if not already held)Learn to Swim Coordinator:In this Learn to Swim Coordinator role, you will be committed, well organised and passionate about educating and developing the lifelong skill of swimming.
