They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of people with disability receiving supports or services.About the role:The APS6 Intelligence Coordination Officer is required to coordinate and assume responsibility, under direction, for detailed or sensitive projects. Work may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the Agency's.Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Supporting the response function of the team including, addressing requests for information, responding to senior management and ministerial requests and assessing incoming matters determining the required treatment.Coordinating intelligence projects, producing a range of high quality strategic, tactical and operational intelligence products informing and impacting decision-making for internal and external stakeholders, targeting organised fraud in Government programs.Providing accurate and specialised advice, ensuring knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, sharing information and intelligence, producing briefing papers including link charts and reports.Assist with coordinating and analysing data and written information for the purposes of drafting branch level communications and high level internal and external communications including reports, advice, presentations and communications for Ministerial, Parliamentary and executive responses. Support identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation, from data analysis, ensuring closed-loop feedback between operations, strategy and the Agency's service delivery to drive continuous improvement.Key skills required for role:Ability to coordinate information and intelligence and apply structure to analytical techniques.Communication skills that enable responding to requests for information in particular written briefs.Ability to work within a small team in a high tempo environment.Familiarity with intelligence gathering systems and processes.Investigative experience.Desirable skills to have for the role:Familiarity of the National intelligence and criminal investigations community.Knowledge of National market and corporate regulators.Application Requirements:Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.Hold a current NV1 Clearance or be willing and able to obtain one.Be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Check and completion of the Agency's screening checks, including; Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.How to apply:If this role is of interest to you, APPLY NOW, with your current resume in MS Word format along with an expression of interest.
