We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Coordinator to join the Communications & Marketing Section of a Canberra based Cultural Institution. In this role, you will play a crucial role in promoting the Institution's facilities, exhibitions and events to diverse audiences, aligning with the strategic objectives and vision.
This is a 6 month non-ongoing contract. Canberra location with flexible working conditions, including flexibility to work from home part of the week. Salary negotiable within the APS 6 salary band, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities: Assist to develop, execute, and assess strategic marketing campaigns for various programs and activities, including media planning, creative development, material production, and stakeholder coordination Assist to deliver and evaluate digital marketing initiatives, including paid social media advertising and electronic direct mail (EDM) campaigns Develop and maintain databases using diverse software tools, providing administrative and research support, and assisting with budget processes Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimise marketing strategies and outcomes Support the implementation of comprehensive communications and marketing strategies. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in creating and executing marketing plans across traditional and digital media channels Excellent communication skills for developing audience-specific messaging and content Experience in managing print production, including supplier coordination, quoting, and meeting deadlines Strong organisational skills for budget tracking, project prioritisation, and accurate work under pressure Effective stakeholder management skills for interpreting project briefs and obtaining approvals.
