We are looking for multiple APS5 Assessment Officers to join a large Federal Government Department on a labour-hire contract basis. Multiple locations available in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne (All CBD). Requirements:

Must be Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a Baseline Security Clearance

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in a reputable federal government organisation, focused on ensuring high quality, affordable, and accessible early childhood education and care for Australian children and families.

Responsibilities:

Application Processing:

Assess and process applications for approval, including service changes of ownership.

Legislation Interpretation:

Apply legislation, policies, and guidelines to make informed, evidence-based decisions.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records across various IT systems.

Data Analysis:

Analyze relevant information and data to support administrative decisions.

Communication:

Engage effectively and professionally with child care providers and stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships.

Delegated Responsibilities:

Exercise delegated authority for the approval of applications.

Policy Development:

Contribute to the development of operational procedures and policies to support consistent decision-making.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports and data analysis.

Business Improvement:

Participate in projects aimed at improving business processes related to approvals and compliance.
