The Learning and Development Officer will be expected to identify effective and appropriate training methods, contribute to training course material, and assist with the coordination of improved course content and modern training delivery techniques.They will build and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including business units, HR functions, and external training providers. They influence client relationships for optimal outcomes across training programs.The key deliverables of this role include:

Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and develop tailored learning strategies. Design and produce diverse training materials using innovative methods such as augmented reality and virtual classrooms, ensuring high-quality content and regular updates. Develop comprehensive training documentation, including storyboards, lesson plans, and manuals. Evaluate training effectiveness through learner assessments and feedback, reporting findings to management for continuous improvement. Maintain accurate training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with external service providers to enhance training offerings and resources. Develop and implement annual training plans and budgets in alignment with goals. Initiate and maintain productive relationships with Learning and Development teams and key stakeholders to align objectives. Conduct audits and quality assurance activities to ensure training materials are fit for purpose and current. Identify and resolve assessment issues, ensuring transparency and fairness in all evaluations. Stay updated on best practices in learning and development techniques, tools, and solutions to enhance training effectiveness. Provide high-level advice to management regarding training needs and compliance requirements. Champion an inclusive workplace culture, promoting diversity and valuing different perspectives within the team.

Desirable skills: Strong background in instructional design and training delivery. Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture. Coordinate projects in an administrative and technically complex environment. Experience in training analysis, design, development, and evaluation.
