Job Description 9 Months Max- Term Contract Hybrid Work Model based in North Sydney

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day running of the APAC payroll function.
They will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, maintaining and reviewing all payroll functions across APAC with the various 3rd party payroll providers.
In addition, the role shall identify and implement systems, policies and processes for the Payroll function, which will improve monitoring, accountability and growth across the region.
Instruct payroll providers with new employees, terminations, and adjustments every month in each of the APAC countries (Including but not limited to Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore) Reconciliation of monthly/quarterly payroll reporting ready for distributing to Finance team Preparation of annual reports for audit and annual statutory reporting Provide financial and analytical support to the Finance Director Performing adhoc analysis pro-actively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of communications and the resolution of issues SOX compliance preparation and management CorpPass Administration (if Singapore based)

Qualifications Degree qualified in commerce, business, accounting or payroll administration Experience managing payroll function Demonstrated experience in managing a medium/Large organisation's accounting, Payroll, tax and statutory compliance requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision Excellent customer service skills Netsuite experience is desirable MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at Advanced Level Good conceptual ability, communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analysis/problem-solving skills
