Ao4 Executive Project Support Officer

A temporary opportunity has become available with a Qld Government Department in Brisbane CBD.
Starting asap, through to 28/11/2024 initially (potential for extension), the role provides executive support services to the Office of the Chief Inspector and project and administrative support to staff.
Duties include: Manage the operation of the Office of the Chief Inspector ensuring that office procedures and systems are efficient, priorities are met, and deadlines are achieved.
Provide administrative project management support including confidential secretariat tasks, maintenance of electronic records, and preparation, coordination and review of departmental and ministerial briefing notes and correspondence.
Provide finance, procurement and human resources assistance to Office of the Chief Inspector staff as required.
Utilise skills in research, analysis and problem solving to provide advice to the project team and stakeholders.
Participate in the management of complaints and general enquiries processes.
To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate: Previous executive and project support experience within an aligned position (experience in Government finance and procurement processes will be highly regarded).
Experience in travel planning, bookings and event management.
Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning and using new technology.
Fast and accurate keyboarding skills.
Availability to work Monday – Friday (in office) and commence asap.
