Committed to innovation, our client consistently sets industry benchmarks and collaborates closely with their customers to surpass expectations.ROLEThis exciting career opportunity is open to both graduates and experienced Analytical Chemists! Full training on the use of analytical equipment will be provided. The role offers flexible start times between 7 am and 9 am, with corresponding finish times between 3 pm and 5 pm. Offered as a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave, this position has no view to permanency. However, you will benefit from a comprehensive induction program and training led by highly experienced scientists.The person in this role will be responsible for conducting chemical and electrical analyses of insulating media from various sources, as well as related equipment. Key responsibilities include:Quality control of productsOperation of GC-Headspace for analysisTesting insulating oils using UPLCConducting physical tests, such as evaluating oil color and appearanceAssisting in the development and implementation of new testing methodologiesCalibrating and maintaining equipment to meet quality accreditation standardsProviding accurate and timely data reports for analysis by various stakeholdersSELECTION CRITERIAWe are looking for a team player who is motivated, flexible, and shows initiative.
