About Amber
Amber is a new way to buy power, designed for a world powered by renewable energy. We give customers direct access to the real-time wholesale electricity price as it varies every 5 mins. We then provide the technology to shift energy usage to the times when cheaper renewables are available in the grid and export to the grid at times when the price is highest. It's a cheaper way to buy power and the fastest way for Australia to reach 100% renewable energy. We have thousands of customers who love what we are doing and a great product that will play a significant role in driving Australia towards a renewable future.

About the role
We're looking for 2x full time generalist Senior Product Managers who can spread across multiple functions (core product, growth, operations) and help take our product to the next level. You will be a strong strategic thinker who can identify and select opportunities for the team with analytical rigour. You are a stronger executor that can leverage multi-functional teams to take product all the way from ideation to adoption. You'll be a core member of the product team and work closely with the design, technology, operations and marketing functions.
Responsibilities
Clearly articulate and translate the Amber product vision from the big picture down to the fine details Collaborate with the executive team and key stakeholders developing the high level product strategy in line with that vision Uncover, investigate, select, and prioritise the highest value product initiatives across your portfolio. Be rigorous and quantitative first and foremost, but also exercise intuition and taste Support UX group in performing deep research of the product requirements of our customers and stakeholders Support engineering in writing or refining specifications, particularly where there are challenging business, market, or regulatory complexities Work with the marketing team to drive go-to-market motions Build a deep well of domain expertise for the product team Learn the energy market inside out Drive key reporting initiatives on the performance of our product and the product team itself. Key requirements
5-7 years of experience in product management Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills Proven ability to work cross-functionally , building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholders. Bachelor's degree or equivalent Entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact High attention to detail Nice to haves:
Prior experience at an early/growth stage startup Strong quantitative background (eg science, engineering) You're passionate about technology, energy and/or the environment. Benefits

We are also open to you working 4 days a week , if that's what you are looking for. We do have an office in the Melbourne CBD , where we work flexibly between the office and home . For those based in Sydney, catch up in a co-working space every now and then, and rest of the locations in Australia work from home . We expect to remain Melbourne based but maintain flexibility between the office and WFH.

$140,000 - $170,000 a year
Range is quoted excluding superannuation. All roles at Amber include employee stock options.

Our hiring process will generally be as below:
- A screening interview with our talent team
- A take-home product challenge that should take no longer than two to four hours
- A follow up case study interview with our COO (Chief Operating Officer) and one of our Senior Product Managers
- A culture interview with two of our Engineering team members
- A final chat with one of the founders and the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer)
