As our AM Operations Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient unloading of linehaul trailers and containers, and the effective unloading of PUD vehicles.Key Responsibilities:Maximise Efficiency: Ensure trailers and units are loaded to full capacity, distribute freight accurately, and oversee all unloading activities.Collaborate and Support: Work closely with the AM Operations Manager to address concerns related to revenue, loads, and site operations.Lead and Guide: Supervise AM Forklift Operators and Receiving Officers, focusing on safety, scanning accuracy, and minimizing freight damage.Monitor and Report: Keep a keen eye on revenue, load accuracy, costs, and service issues, and work towards providing effective solutions.Ensure Compliance: Maintain safe load procedures, adherence to Chain of Responsibility, and ensure equipment and resource efficiency.Minimum Requirements:Proven supervisory experience within the freight industry.Strong judgment skills with the ability to make firm and fair decisions.Excellent communication and people management skills.Ability to achieve KPIs and targets, with a customer-centric approach.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good time management skills.Advertised: 23 Aug 2024 E.
