In addition to the Kenworth and DAF brands, we are also all makes capable and full service dealers for the extensive range of PACCAR,Cummins and CAT truck engines, as well as Dana,Meritor,Eaton,Wabco,Knorr-Bremse and SAF-Holland commercial vehicle technologies.
Looking to grow your career We now have an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to expand and deepen their knowledge by overseeing and supervising a dedicated afternoon team in our workshop at Hallam Truck Centre.
You will be required to: Ensure all repair work is completed to the company's and manufacturer's quality standards fully and efficiently the first time Road test vehicles to assess faults Ensure technicians produce clear and concise reports detailing all repair work carried out Ensure workshop area, tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained to a high standard Practice and promote all OHS regulations ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to Vehicle diagnosis leading tomechanical repairs and component replacement onchassis' and engines Skills & Experience Qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician Current HC/HR drivers licence an advantage but not essential High level of problem solving / diagnostic skills Excellent ability to impart acquired knowledge to both technicians and apprentices Thrive in a fast paced environment Sound computer skills Previous training on Cummins and experience with American or European engines and drivelines will be highly regarded Ongoing training and development giving you the opportunity within our workshop, giving you the opportunity to build a long and successful career in the industry All PPE and laundered uniform provided Work with iconic & reputablebrands Hallam Truck Centre will subsidence 50% of the cost to obtain aHeavy Rigid (HR Class) heavy vehicle license (conditions apply) Opportunities to support community partnerships with our Group CMV Foundation Enjoy annual company dinners and picnics Improve yourwellbeingwith our CMV Care platform including access to discounted fitness, income and health insurance programs as well as free monthly onsiteMyotherapy treatments At Hallam Truck Centre, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
