We are secretive about what we do, not what we value. The opportunity ASIO is looking to fill positions within the Strategic Industry Partnerships (SIP) Team at the Support Officer AE5 and Project Officer AE6 levels.
ASIO's SIP team works with strategic industry entities to deliver capability and capacity that supports ASIO's technology needs.
The team has a key role in supporting the relationships between ASIO and key Strategic Industry Partners to support the procurement of technological solutions to achieve ASIO's objectives.
SIP Support and Project Officers employ a range of skills, including strategic thinking, negotiation, decision making, risk management, stakeholder engagement, regulatory awareness, and conflict resolution to ensure good relationship management in accord with partnership principles. Role responsibilities As a SIP Project Officer/Support Officer in ASIO, you will: Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, event coordination, preparing documents, coordinative advice, tracking progress and identifying risks.Assist with the preparation and review of written material including Governance and KPI reports, statements and contracts.Assist Partner Managers with the engagement of industry partners and internal teams.Work collaboratively by building effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate correspondence and maintain communication lines with stakeholders.Assist with the preparation and administration of industry contract management tools, processes, forms, templates and policies.Promote and implement ASIO Values and business partnering culture.Undertake other duties as directed. Employment conditions Employment is under the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979.
Conditions of service are similar to those applying in the Australian Public Service.
We recognise entitlements accrued under the Public Service Act 1999 and provide for continuation of superannuation under the Commonwealth schemes.
