The Opportunity
We are seeking an Adviser to join our Human Resources team in Sydney. This opportunity will suit HR professionals who are keen to develop their business partnering skills in a high performing, yet supportive environment that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their stakeholders.
While the groups we support vary, key responsibilities will include:

Working collaboratively with our HR Centres of Excellence (eg, HR Operations, Recruitment; Reward; International Mobility) to deploy Herbert Smith Freehills initiatives across the national offices.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in HR or equivalent are desirable.
At least 3 years' experience in a HR role, ideally within a large corporate or professional services environment.
An ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
A natural ability to build positive and genuine working relationships.
Experience in dealing with ambiguity and adapting to changing circumstances.
Strong client service focus, and commitment to upholding ethics and maintaining confidentiality.
What you can expect from us:
We're a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 5,000 professionals. As the market leader in Australia, we are committed to high performance, collaboration, diversity and digital innovation. We are client-centred, commercially driven, and renowned for our solution-focused expertise.
We will align your growth with our ambitions. We make your personal and professional growth our business. And as part of the team, our ambition is yours too. Wherever you are in your career: grow and help the firm grow with you.
We will provide opportunities to learn on the job as well as a mix of learning opportunities tailored to you. Daily experiences, supportive challenges, team collaboration, mentors, and structured learning opportunities help you to expand your knowledge and reach your goals.
We value your wellbeing, both at home and at work, and we place a strong emphasis on mental health. If you need support, you'll have it and we'll empower you to harness your personal strengths, navigate uncertainty, embrace opportunities, and effectively manage things within your control.
