Advanced Pharmacist, Digital Health, Cairns and Hinterland HHS - Cairns Full time The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population.

About your role: Lead and facilitate decision making across multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional working groups to optimise clinical workflows and ie MR technical configurations to best meet business needs of all CHHHS stakeholders.
Apply advanced level understanding of the clinical environment and workflows to lead change management strategies aligning with CHHHS policies and procedures to develop innovative Digital Health solutions to enhance the workflows for clinicians.
Work with key stakeholders to prepare change documentation (including clinical impact assessments) where appropriate and provide coordination and support to the change governance processes for any enhancements.
Provide comprehensive communications to the business on enhancements as they are implemented.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clinical and business staff.
Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy Department to review, develop and implement training material and workflow solutions.
Review and provide expert medication management advice for medical officer and nursing training material and workflows.
Identify medication related risks and issues and escalate via medication safety governance where necessary.
Review digital health related medication clinical incidents as a digital health subject matter expert in collaboration with relevant key stakeholders, including the Medication Safety Pharmacist and patient safety and quality improvement teams.
Provide recommendations, feedback and training to clinical areas where required.
