The Lightning Ridge branch of the NSW Resources group are looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join the team.
About the role:
As an Administrative Support Officer, you'll provide administrative, financial, and support services to assist the operation of the Branch, including the administration of opal mineral claims.
Your days will be busy and varied as you:
Provide initial customer service - answering general enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email.
Provide administrative services including filing, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, routine purchasing, meeting and event support, photocopying, scanning, and creating and compiling documents to support the effective operation of the team/unit.
Collect and compile information to support the development of documentation and reports.
Update records and databases.
This is a great opportunity for someone to take the first step in their admin and office support career with training and support available.
You'll need to be someone who has a customer-focused attitude and wants to contribute to the success of a team.
Someone who can pick things up quickly and take on the challenge of working in a high-volume environment.
Someone who respects confidentiality, can adapt to new situations, and is familiar and confident using different technology.
