ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE PASTORAL TEAM Full-Time position to start Term 1 2025 (28 January 2025), Term Time Only Closing Date for Applications: 18 November 2024 St Vincent's College is seeking to appoint a committed, professional and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to the Pastoral Team. You will be joining a team of four Deans to assist in the administration required for the pastoral care of students in Years 7-12.

The Role This Administrative Assistant role will support the Pastoral Team with the following tasks:
? Administrative support to facilitate efficient operation of the Pastoral Team
? Manage parent communications in an appropriate and timely manner
? Be a calm and reassuring point of contact for students presenting to the Deanery for pastoral support
? Generate reports for student attendance tracking and maintaining student pastoral records whilst maintaining confidentiality and privacy of student information
? Manage data entry and record keeping across a range of platforms
? Liaise with key stakeholders both internal and external to the College; scheduling appointments and meetings, producing and distributing correspondence, answering and directing phone calls etc
? Calendar management and coordination of events as required
? Ordering and maintaining resources
? Carrying out administrative duties such as typing, scanning and filing, ensuring efficient record keeping within the College information system etc
Your Background The right candidate will:
? Have administration support experience
? Be able to establish, build and maintain a rapport quickly with students and stakeholders
? Provide courteous and professional communication with high quality written and verbal literacy
? Highly motivated and results oriented with a positive attitude
