Hall Chadwick is a mid-tier chartered accounting firm providing professional services in the areas of Audit, Business Services and Advisory, Insolvency and Tax.
We are seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Accounting Administration Assistant to work full-time in an autonomous and hands-on role providing day-to-day administrative support to the Business Services team.
The successful candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:
Skills and experience required:
1-2 years' experience in an Accounting, Legal or Financial Administration roleDemonstrated ability to work as part of a teamSome accounting experience and knowledge (prior formal training or qualification would be highly regarded)Demonstrable experience in XEROExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdministration skillsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Able and willing to perform repetitive tasksWorking with a team of accountants and clients on notification of lodgement due dates, getting work in and logged inGeneral administrative tasks - assisting with overflow of phone calls, attending to reception as needed etc. This is a role which will require liaising with individuals at all levels of the organisation and therefore you will need to be able to demonstrate both a high level of initiative and a team-based approach.
The main responsibilities in this role will be:
Report to multiple partners (but mainly 2)Coordinate ingoing and outgoing mailInteract with clients, including scheduling of appointments and correspondence both via phone and emailPrepare, lodge and manage all ASIC compliance obligations for the teamAttend to entity set-ups, including government registrations and structuring On-boarding of new clients, including all required correspondence Assistance in maintaining internal records such as staff procedures and intranetPreparation and assistance in coordinating and paying various accounts and expense reimbursementsRegular Reception coverCoordinate team training and internal functions, including social events and team building activitiesBilling and WIP managementWill assist with overflow for the office including PA duties, kitchen and other office dutiesAny other assistance required by the team About the firm Hall Chadwick is a mid-tier-chartered accountancy firm which enjoys an amazing client base delivering growth solutions, business advice and capital market solutions.
