A job to be proud of: As an Administration Officer at St John WA, you'll be supporting our Country Ambulance Services by managing essential administrative and financial tasks one day a week. Your work will help ensure smooth operations, providing vital support that directly impacts the well-being of the Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun community. This role is preferably completed in one day but can be spread over two days if needed.
This fixed-term, part-time position offers you the flexibility to balance other commitments while being part of a supportive team. With 7.5 hours of work, ideally including Wednesdays, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our mission of serving and protecting Western Australians.
What you'll do: Provide exceptional support to internal and external customers, ensuring timely processing of queries and communication. Administer financial duties, including preparing purchase orders, processing payments, and maintaining financial records. Assist in first aid training services, process occupational safety reports, and support volunteer Sub Centres. Ensure compliance with St John WA's policies, procedures, and workflows while contributing to the organisation's mission and values. What you'll need: Certificate III in Office Administration or equivalent experience in a similar role. Proficiency in MS Office Suite with excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in accounts payable, customer service, and administration. What's in it for you?
