Position Profile:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to lead our admin team within our Surgical Directorate.
As the
Senior Administrative Coordinator , you will effectively manage and coordinate the Child and Adolescent Health Service – Surgical Services administrative services while providing confidential and comprehensive administrative support to the Co-Directors. You will provide strategic leadership for the administrative service team ensuring a focus on service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
In consultation with senior management, take responsibility for the organisational culture, leadership and management of administrative services within Child and Adolescent Health Service Surgical Division.
Coordinate Human Resources and participate in the planning and budgeting processes within the administrative area, providing leadership and support to staff.
Provide administrative services in partnership with the administrative team to maintain a focus on service delivery.
The safety, quality and efficiency of administrative services for the Surgical Division including liaison and negotiation with internal and external providers to ensure services meet office, directorate and Health Service needs.
Liaise with other managers to establish effective and consistent administrative processes across the Health Service.
Develop administrative processes and procedures to enhance the efficient management and delivery of clinical services within CAHS Surgical Division.

Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS)
is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
