About the role:
The casual position requires the successful candidates to be able to perform a wide range of roles and administration duties throughout the hospital. Those in the casual pool have the opportunity to work in areas such as: inpatient wards, reception, ED outpatient clinics, in the allied health departments, mental health inpatient wards, elective waitlist and sometimes community health.
Upon commencement of your new role, you will undergo comprehensive training in various administrative functions across the hospital and its facilities, equipping you with the skills to succeed within the role. You will be supported by the patient services manager and various managers throughout the facility, with ongoing training.
About you:
The successful candidates will have excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills in a high-volume environment, willingness to work on the main reception desk. Good communication, time management, and prioritisation skills are essential.
