We provide fully integrated environmental and social assessment and management services including concept and feasibility, technical assessment, consultation, approvals, delivery, operations, and decommissioning.
This 6-month fixed term contract role offers administrative support to Umwelt's Ecology NSW team, including Team Leaders and Managers in Newcastle and Sydney.
This position is crucial for the efficient operation of the Ecology department, aiding NSW Ecology Managers and enhancing communication and organisational systems.
Key Responsibilities: The successful applicant for this position, will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Administrator experienced in the below areas: Editing and formatting reports, letters and other documentation Calendar management and scheduling requirements Coordinating meetings on behalf of managers Drafting emails and correspondence General administrative tasks Ordering equipment and field supplies, as required Booking travel and accommodation arrangements Minute taking in team meetings Event coordination Handling expense claims and credit card processing Conference, training and medical bookings We are looking for someone with the ability to work with various stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for all Umwelt staff.
You should have well-developed grammar skills and the ability to identify errors.
You will undertake a variety of administrative functions for a multi-disciplinary team and work effectively under pressure without compromising on quality.
The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
It is essential that you will be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
