Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Legal Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder who is comfortable wearing different hats, seamlessly shifting between tasks and administrative duties as needed. From assisting lawyers with complex legal matters to handling daily administrative operations, you will be an integral part of keeping the firm running smoothly. You must be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong time and task management abilities to effectively balance the diverse responsibilities of the role.
Key Responsibilities: Assist lawyers with legal documentation, including preparing, reviewing, and drafting documents.Manage matters, including opening and closing files, creating tasks, managing correspondence, and ensuring matters are organised and tracked appropriately.Provide administrative support as needed, such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.Oversee office requirements, service maintenance calls, purchasing office supplies, and filing of correspondence.Complete various administrative duties, including handling new client enquiries, directing phone calls, and greeting clients.Organise events, functions, and firm initiatives, ensuring smooth operations.Assist with accounts and billing, including creating and managing tax invoices, processing payments, debtor chasing and tracking billing records.Perform general office duties and any additional tasks as required to support legal and administrative functions within the firm.Qualifications: Administration experience essentialExcellent organisational and multitasking skills.Strong attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal management software.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Why Join Us?
