The Tanami Expansion 2 project aims to extend the mine life beyond 2040, investing in a hoisting shaft which will increase the production of the underground mine from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa.
A fully equipped camp is located 40km from the site offering leisure facilities for those working at Tanami.The RoleNewmont is currently seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to provide support to the Tanami Operation in Processing Operations, with a key focus on the daily management of ensuring that services are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.Working a FIFO roster from Darwin or Alice Springs, the position will report to the Manager - Processing Operations.In This Role You Will:Facilitate processing of documentation associated with the engagement of contractors and Newmont personnelEnsure site access systems, processes and procedures are relevant, efficient, and up to dateProvide site access and flights related administration supportEnsure that a high standard of work is produced at all times meeting required deadlines while complying with Newmont's policies and proceduresReconcile and process invoices in SAP and regularly liaise with vendors and provide updatesReceipt invoices for relevant department with prior approvalsGenerate purchase orders as required for the departmentPrepare Accruals for review by department managersAbout You:Diploma in Business or Office and Secretarial or equivalent desirableExperience in a similar administrative role and Mining industry experienceExperience and advanced level of proficiency in the use of SAP, Inflight, +Process, and data management systemsPrevious experience with FCM Online Travel management systemProficient and accurate typing/keyboard skills and numerical accuracyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and OutlookExperience in procedures associated with the mobilisation of personnel to mine sitesApplications close on Sunday 24 November 2024, short listing will commence immediately.We understand no candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
