About The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join Whitehaven Coal as a Part Time Administrative Assistant, where you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support at Werris Creek Mine 3 days a week. This all-round role will see you contributing to the smooth functioning of key departments of the mine during Rehabilitation stages. The successful applicant for the position will either reside in the Gunnedah region or be willing to relocate. Relocation Packages available. What You'll Do Accurately input accounting data into Pulse software. Process and reconcile accounts, ensuring timely input for payments. Confidentially file commercial correspondence and information in line with company policies. Assist the Operations Manager with a range of administrative tasks, including document preparation and report generation. Provide support for accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing functions during leave periods or high workload times. What You'll Bring Previous experience in clerical and administrative roles (essential). Qualifications in Office Administration (Cert III or IV) (desirable). Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable.
