You will be working in the Diagnostic Centre, an outpatient facility that provides a range of specialised testing services for patients with cardiology, respiratory, and neurological concerns. These tests are crucial in diagnosing and managing conditions such as heart disease, lung disorders, and neurological issues. This role is a maternity relief position up until May 2025. During this time, you will play a key role in supporting the team while contributing to the overall patient care experience.
About the role :
This is a high-demand outpatient service where efficiency and organisation are key. As part of this role, you will be the sole administrator, working independently to provide critical support to doctors, technicians, and patients. As the main point of contact for all patients, you will manage the entire patient flow—from arrival to departure. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and managing appointments, handling a high volume of phone calls, and performing general administrative tasks. These tasks include scanning, filing, and maintaining patient records. Your ability to multitask and provide excellent service will ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and a positive experience for both patients and the medical team.
About you :
You will need to bring a strong 'can-do' attitude, demonstrating excellent time management and the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail will be essential in ensuring accuracy in your work. While being a key team player who collaborates effectively with medical professionals, you will also need the ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision. Exceptional customer service skills are essential to ensure a positive experience for patients. Proficiency in computer systems and software will be important for managing appointments and records efficiently. You should be proactive, able to anticipate needs and take the initiative to solve problems as they arise.
