Job Description:
As an Administration/Receptionist Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, assisting patients, handling phone inquiries, and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly and provide excellent customer service. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the patient database. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally. Process patient registrations and payments accurately. Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow. Handle general office duties, including managing supplies and equipment. Contract Type: Temporary 6 month contract (Locum) Roster shifts for the first 3 months (1-2 days per week or 8-16 hour weeks) Full-time shifts (Monday-Friday) for the next 3 months (40 hour weeks) Qualifications: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. A friendly and approachable demeanor.
