The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Admin Assistant / Practice Manager to join our team on a casual basis, with a pathway to full-time employment. This role is crucial in supporting the clinic's smooth operation. If you're an organisational whiz with PowerDiary experience and a passion for mental health, we want you!
Key Responsibilities
Be the welcoming face of our clinic, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere for clients.
Manage client appointments scheduling and communication via PowerDiary (proficiency in PowerDiary is a huge plus).
Process payments, Medicare rebates, and third-party invoices efficiently.
Support accounts payable/receivable processes.
Support clinicians with admin tasks and client coordination.
Improve administrative policies and procedures.
Handle intake and triage duties if qualified in mental health.
Help boost our social media and marketing presence.
Maintain an organised, welcoming reception area.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in healthcare administration, ideally in a group-based psychology clinic (big plus).
Experience with accounts payable/receivable is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to improve administrative policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PowerDiary is highly desirable.
Proficiency in social media and marketing is a bonus.
Knowledge of Medicare, private health insurance, and third-party funding systems.
Qualifications in mental health for intake and triage services are preferred.
