ABOUT THE ROLE The Partnerships Manager is a pivotal leadership role within our Commercial team, responsible for driving and nurturing long-term relationships with corporate partners and sponsors. You'll ensure the world-class delivery of commercial obligations while aligning partnership strategies with the club's broader objectives.
This role will see you at the forefront of partnership development, enhancing brand presence, creating exceptional value for stakeholders, and contributing significantly to the club's commercial success.
ABOUT YOU To excel in this role, you'll bring a strong background in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, and account management. Your ability to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic, competitive, collaborative environment will set you apart. Moreover, you will have:
Proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnership management, or a related commercial role, ideally in the sports or entertainment sector. Strong business development and account management skills, with a history of achieving revenue targets. Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation abilities, with a focus on delivering value for all stakeholders. Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a results-driven mindset. Passion for sport. A deep understanding of the AFL landscape is highly desirable.
