About the RoleThe Credit Card Acquisition Manager (Digital and Partnerships) will be responsible for defining the strategy for acquiring Credit Card customers through Digital channels and Partnership offers/loyalty programs, executing a plan that will deliver the optimum mix of product and channel sales to drive front book revenue growth.
You will lead the relationship with our delivery partners in Digital Sales Experience and Strategic Partnerships and align acquisition plans and objectives to the broader Retail and Everyday Banking Strategy. You will also play an important role in owning the relationship and collaborating with Credit Risk and Operations team to deeply understand our policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in order to improve the approval rates of newly acquired customers.
This role will be responsible for optimising the acquisition experience for digital channels to ensure when customers apply for a new credit card, they have a seamless experience from application to approval.

What will your day look like?As an Acquisition Manager, you will be accountable to:
Define and execute the acquisition strategy for consumer credit cards, specifically for the Digital channels and through our Partnership offers/loyalty programs.Actively manage key strategic partners and external affiliates to extract value for our new customers and utilize their channels to reach and acquire customers.Create financial year plans aligned with finance, product, and customer engagement to deliver on our financial objectives (the optimum mix of product, channel, offer, and customer).Closely monitor the performance of acquisition cohorts (credit quality, application volumes, approval rates, activation rates, spend, balances, and attrition) and evolve the acquisition strategy based on these data points.Identify opportunities to improve cost of acquisition, approval rates, customer spend, etc., to drive sustainable growth.Utilize key partners (Argus, RFI, affiliate channels, etc.) to understand our performance vs. our competitors and identify pockets of opportunity.Monitor and respond to Customer Complaints in line with ANZ Complaints Management Framework.Quarterly reviews with regulatory affairs to ensure program compliance and plan for upcoming regulatory change.Lead monthly results and alignment session with key business partners.Ensure acquisition plan for digital and partnerships is delivered on schedule/within budget.Communicate clearly and frequently with key stakeholders and Group functions, underpinned by a reporting cadence.Align timings and prioritisation between key partners and stakeholders.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in credit card acquisition (or other retail lending products) essential.Commercial acumen.Experience working with data to understand trends and develop opportunities to drive acquisition.Experience in digital customer journey optimisation.Understanding of cost and revenue drivers and credit card levers.Leadership of complex project delivery.Demonstrated experience working closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.Effective communicator, effectively resolving issues and removing barriers to success.Adept at fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment and leading, motivating and developing team members.Proficiency in effectively prioritising in a resource-constrained environment.Leadership in agile ways of working and in complex, matrixed team structures.Knowledge of the Australia Retail product lines and broader business.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
