Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is searching for an experienced accounts payable officer.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your financial acumen in a dynamic and supportive environment.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial services functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.
The ideal Accounts Payable Officer will bring a wealth of experience from similar roles within large multi-site organisations.
What you'll do: Ensure accurate accounts payable invoice and data entryPerform creditor statement reconciliationsRespond to creditor and internal queries in a timely mannerProcess cheque and electronic payments (local and international)Liaise with site staff as requiredAssist with the reconciliation of Accounts Payable related General Ledger accountsParticipate in business planning processes and policy formulation within your area of responsibilityWhat you bring: Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a large multi-site organisationExperience in account management functions and ability to manage large volumes of financial dataExperience with a computerised financial accounting systemAdvanced spread sheeting skillsExcellent understanding of Australian GST requirementsOur client is renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional service across all aspects of their operations.
