About the role:
The Accounts Payable Administrator (Foreign Suppliers & Imports) is responsible for managing the financial transactions related to the company's international inventory procurement. This role involves processing invoices from foreign suppliers, handling payments in multiple currencies, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international finance, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex accounts payable processes involving imports.

Role & Responsibilities: Match invoices to international purchase orders and shipping/receiving reports to confirm quantities, pricing, and applicable duties or taxes.Enter foreign supplier invoices into the accounting system, ensuring accurate currency conversion and application of exchange rates.Manage deposit and progress payments to suppliers, reconcile to final invoices and purchase orders.Prepare and process payments to foreign suppliers, ensuring adherence to international payment terms and currency regulations.Maintain strong relationships with foreign suppliers and procurement team, addressing any payment-related issues, including discrepancies and shortages. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable role, with a focus on foreign suppliers and imports.Experience with international finance, including currency conversions and foreign exchange management.Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, particularly those with multi-currency capabilities (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Business Central).Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in handling international transactions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in foreign currency reporting.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, particularly during month-end and year-end closings.
