Accounting Manager

This role will be responsible for the overall financial accounting for LKQ Euro Car Parts UK. The responsibilities will include month close postings, variance analysis and reporting to LKQ Europe. This person will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, clearing of outstanding items and analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for processing and reviewing month end close postingsResponsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for UK companyInvolvement in the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs for UK to LKQ Corporation, with variance analysisInvolvement in the preparation of SOX control compliance during close processes, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately, on time and in adherence to LKQ Corp policy.Responsible for responding to queries from external and internal auditors as necessaryResponsible for resolving VAT and Corporation Tax enquiries and analysis.Skills and ExperienceQualified ACA, ACCA or CIMAAble to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesSuperior analytical and Excel skillsAbility to communicate with the non-finance colleaguesAbility to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skillsExperience managing a teamExperience of working for an FMCG/logistics/Multisite business.Experience of SOXWhat we offer33 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)Personal development leading to career opportunities across LKQ UK and EuropeContributory pension schemeLife assuranceSupport through our 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family
