The primary responsibility of this role is to review, investigate and provide insights on the meat manufacturing business P&L and associated balance sheet accounts.  This includes monitoring selected areas of the business, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, managing business unit queries, as well as supporting the wider team in driving continuous improvements across all aspects of the teams performance. What you'll do  Support timely and insightful reporting of the meat financial position to the business unit finance teams Ensure reconciliations are prepared effectively and provide a clear description of outstanding items, have appropriate supporting documentation, provide a conclusion and an action plan for clearance Ensure financial controls are in place and reviewed to comply with accounting policies and standards Liaise with stakeholders to call out insights and resolve queries Drive initiatives and strategies for continual improvement of processes Maintain an effective understanding of business and reporting considerations Maintain stakeholder relationships Perform User Acceptance Testing for any changes to the System Environment What you'll bring You will have a finance related degree with or working towards a CA or CPA qualification 2- 5 years relevant experience, exposure in retail/large corporate will be advantageous but not critical Experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, SAP,  SQL Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills  Ability to synthesize large amounts of data from a variety of sources Strong presentation and story-boarding skills What you'll experience Our Team Members are at the heart of everything we do and we're always looking for ways to support your career journey and reward great work: A progressive and flexible 'work from anywhere' policy that gives you more control over your work, life and wellbeing.  Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
