In this role, you will be accountable for the financial and transactional accounting of assigned properties with development impact within the Retail sector. Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): appropriately carrying out accounting entries, ensuring systems data integrity, preparation of budgets/forecasts, monitoring of development fee billing and associated reporting.You will make an impact by:Effectively managing the month-end, quarter end, year-end management accounting processes for your portfolio of assets.Preparing and reviewing general ledger reconciliations, monthly management property reports and re-forecasts.Partnering across finance and asset teams in the budgeting and forecasting process for development impacted tenancies and capex.Building strong relationships across Development and property teams.Maintaining the fixed asset register.Addressing ad-hoc queries from various teams internally and externally as required.About YouThe ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified or pursuing, and ideally bring 1-3 years of management and financial accounting experience, particularly in property or portfolio accounting. Known for your attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities, you will excel in both autonomous and team environments. Your professionalism, proactive approach and adaptability will see you become a valuable asset in our fast-paced and dynamic setting.
