Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial transactions and accounting activities.
Develop and maintain budget forecasts.
Ensure timely publication of financial statements.
Handle the closing processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Manage and execute timely bank payments.
Calculate taxes and prepare accurate tax returns.
Maintain balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Report on the company's financial performance, liquidity, and overall financial health.
Conduct audits of financial transactions and documentation.
Safeguard financial data confidentiality and perform regular database backups.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Accountant.
In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and standards, including GAAP.
Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, FreshBooks, and QuickBooks.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
Experience with general ledger functions.
High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Pay: $75,500.00 – $79,000.00 per year
