Cranbrook Care is looking for motivated Accountant to join the team at our Head Office in North Sydney.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will be required to support the needs of Cranbrook Care and its residences, and will be responsible for:
Preparing and providing support with executive reporting requirements and month end closing journals
Reconciling and lodge business activity statements
Prepare General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliation, monthly Payroll Tax, and maintain Fixed Asset Register
Manage the functions of AP/AR and payroll for your allocated residence
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance related matters, support other ad hoc tasks as directed by the CFO and Financial Controller
Be a role model for Cranbrook Care culture and operation in accordance with Cranbrook Care cultural values and norms
This is a hands-on role that demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand. You will build strong relationships with senior management across the organisation to enable you to perform your day-to-day role.
ABOUT YOU
You will be a team player and able to work autonomously to provide excellence across our organisation. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:
3+ years experience in the same or similar role
CPA/CA qualified or at a minimum, working toward CPA/CA qualification
Proficient in AP/AR functions
Solid understanding of the principles of ledger reconciliation
Demonstrated experience within a payroll function
Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills
Excellent computer skills in Word and Outlook
Experience in aged care or healthcare would be favoured, however not essential
Previous experience using EPICOR accounting software would be an advantage
Previous experience using Epayroll and Humanforce would be an advantage
Takes full responsibility for own actions and deliverables
Demonstrated service mentality essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and priorities multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to develop key relationships at all levels within an organisation
Strong communication skill and an appreciation of the end user requirements
Demonstrates a high level of motivation and initiative
Must be well presented and have attention to detail
