This role is also required to be a strong and positive member of the finance team.The positionThis full-time hybrid position is based at our head office in Eveleigh and is an integral part of our Finance team.Key Responsibilities:Preparing monthly management report for inclusion in the Board pack and provide recommended action for exceptions for review by Corporate Accountant.Ensure integrity of trial balance by completing monthly G/L reconciliations for review by Corporate Accountant.Assist in the statutory audit as requested by the Corporate Accountant.Maintain chart of accounts additions/deletions.BAS preparation for lodgement by Corporate Accountant.Review all customer and supplier reconciliations prepared by Accounts Officer.Post all recurring and standing monthly journals.Prepare bank reconciliations weekly.Prepare monthly variance analysis for parent entity NEP Group and department P&L and provide commentary for review by Finance Manager.Required skills and attributes:Completed CPA or CA.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.Excellent team player.Able to take initiative within job responsibilities.Able to deliver on tight deadlines and multitask.Sound and informed business judgement in all dealings with staff and external parties.NEP believes that, first and foremost, the efforts of our people are what contribute to our successes.
