Job Description Mercy Connect is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Team in Albury. This is a permanent, full-time position within the Accounting category. As an Accountant at Mercy Connect, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks and duties, including: Applying best practice accounting principles and practices which contributes to the overall effectiveness of Mercy Connect's financial operations. Preparing and analysing finacial reports which contribute to organisational compliance and effective financial decision making.  Building trust and improving efficiency, quality, and productive of finance related activities by striving for continuous improvement of self, systems and processes. Fostering positive business partnerships through the provision of solution focused support to all stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A professional accounting qualification is preferred, along with proficiency in accounting software systems. Desired Skills and Experience Degree in Accounting and/or equivalents skills and experience. Experience working in similar roles or experience working in public practice NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. NDIS Worker Orientation Module Compliance with Mercy Connect's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy (minimum of three doses). NSW Working with Children's Check Desirable Experience (but not required): Practical experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Banking. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / Wiise Experience using Lumary (Salesforce) CRM Experience with payroll systems (ELMO Payroll / Keypay) Demonstrated strong stakeholder engagement and mentoring ability.
