Account & Relationship Management (Sales)
Our client provides industry-leading fibre optic products and services across the globe. Founded in 1984 with a single fibre optic cable, they now manufacture over 2,000 products, employ over 5,000 associates, and consistently generate annual sales of over a billion dollars in revenue.Employing over 140 staff in Oceana, they have offices in each major capital city and operate two optical fibre manufacturing facilities.
As the Enterprise Account Manager, you will manage an existing portfolio of major distributors and customers that service major utilities, transport and renewable energy projects. Reporting to a consultative manager, you will have the operational support and resources to equip you to deliver results.
The role:
Formulate and execute account management strategies to develop and strengthen business relationships
Build solid and trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
Identify and capitalise on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to develop product and service offerings
Present proposals, contractual documents, and technical product information to customers
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
Provide regular reporting and analysis on account performance and pipeline
Research and investigate emerging markets to identify current and future business opportunities
To be considered, you will have the following:
Demonstrated experience in an account management or business development role, preferably in the enterprise B2B space
Proven track record of successfully managing and growing complex client relationships
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand client needs
Proficient in using CRM systems and data analysis to drive informed decision-making
Experience in electrical wholesale will be an advantage
Candidates who have worked in Government in the IT and ICT space (preferably with hardware) are encouraged to apply
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and demonstrated experience, preferably with Business or Engineering specialisations.
