About This Opportunity Being a key appointment, initially you will inherit an established team of eager young accountants who are thirsty to learn from your experiences. You will work closely with the partners to ensure that all aspects of the team's output are of a high standard. Additionally, you will take on the management of some of the firm's larger clients.As the Partners encourage autonomy, ownership, and responsibility, client contact is a must, and you will need to be comfortable with this. You can't sit in a corner and simply "crunch" numbers.Like most Manager roles, you will become a "reviewer" and "trainer" for your team's work prior to partner sign off. You will also assist in the team's development and encourage them to research issues that are unfamiliar or challenging to them. About YouIt is essential that you have worked in an Australian firm for over six years. You will have completed your degree and CA or CPA. You will also be seeking an opportunity to demonstrate your strong leadership and technical accounting skills. Remember this is not just a compliance-focused role. You will be challenged with a variety of ad hoc projects that will require innovation, research and plenty of hard work.Your experiences with a broad variety of business clients in multiple industries will assist you to make a positive impact in this role, as will your confident and friendly personality.
