A leading Government Department in Brisbane CBD has partnered with Public Sector People to recruit multiple AO4 Recruitment Advisors for 6-month temporary contracts, with potential for extension.
This role is crucial to the HR team, supporting the department's strategic objectives by assisting with the attraction and onboarding of talent as part of the department's expansion. The team is responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing workforce of approximately 6,000 FTE employees.
Benefits of the Role: Work-from-home option (2 days per week) Brisbane CBD office location $54.35 per hour + Super Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week 6-month contract with potential extension Immediate start available Recruitment-focused position Role Responsibilities: Implement streamlined and transparent recruitment processes that align with the department's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. Interpret and apply relevant legislation, directives, policies, and procedures related to recruitment, offering precise guidance to selection panels. Provide high-quality customer service to stakeholders, positively representing the division across both internal and external engagements. Conduct candidate care activities to create a positive candidate experience and promote the department as an 'employer of choice.' Oversee the entire recruitment process, including requests to hire, advertising, shortlisting, assessments, interviews, and onboarding for a varied workforce. Perform administrative tasks related to HR data, conduct analysis, and generate reports as needed. Maintain systems that ensure the confidentiality and integrity of HR information and candidate documentation. Assist with onboarding activities and new-starter induction, coordinating events and ensuring accurate training record maintenance. Work collaboratively with team members, managing workloads effectively and meeting deadlines in a high-volume recruitment environment. Desirable Skills and Attributes: Recruitment experience. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computer applications and fast, accurate typing skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Keen attention to detail. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands. Availability to start immediately. Openness to temporary contracts.
