About the Role
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality nursing services across a range of health settings. Your experience and ongoing professional development will support your growth from a competent to proficient practitioner. You will provide expert guidance to less experienced staff while taking accountability for your own practice standards and the activities delegated to others.
In this leadership role, you will assist the Nurse Unit Manager in managing day-to-day operations, from performance management and recruitment to rostering and financial planning. You'll also have the opportunity to drive practice changes and ensure consistency of care, working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients and staff alike.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and skilled nursing/midwifery professional with the following:
Current registration or eligibility with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work independently
At least 3 years of post-registration experience, with leadership and supervision abilities
