Nursing/MidwiferyCentral Adelaide Local Health Network, The Royal Adelaide HospitalSalary RN-1 $72,651 - $99,129 p.a. + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsPermanent full-time positionsAbout the roleThe CALHN Heart & Lung program – Cardiology Service provides nursing services within current nursing models of care focusing on patient-centred acute inpatient services for both life-threatening and potentially life-threatening conditions - emergency and elective.4EW1 is a 16-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:1 nurse:patient ratio for 6 beds and a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio for the remaining 10 beds, depending on patient care needs. Registered Nurses are encouraged to have Advanced Life Support Skills.Registered Nurses commencing in CCU will be supported with an individualised learning/training program supported by senior CCU nurses and cardiac nurse specialists. An 11-week (2 hours/week) Cardiac Rhythms course is provided, followed by a High Acuity course led by our Heart and Lung educators over 20 weeks.QualificationsRegistered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 2 years of relevant experience.About CALHNThe Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
