Total Indicative Remuneration Package: $105,628 - $171,456MDP2 (pro rata) | Full-Time, 3 year contract available in line with the SMOEA guidelines.

As the Medical Service Resident, you will provide general medical rotations.
This role is suitable for candidates who have not yet decided on a specialist training program or wish to obtain more medical experience.
About the role: Working as the Medical Service resident, some of your duties may involve: Providing day to day patient assessment, examination and supervised management.
Modifying therapy where appropriate.
Providing assistance, where appropriate, with clinical trials.
Please Note: As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years.
Rotations following the initial 12-month allocation as Advanced Trainee will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements.
This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills, and capabilities.About you: Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.Successfully completed one year of internship.
Basic skills of patient assessment and common, non-specialised medical procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills - communication with patients and relatives, team work with staff members, and counselling skills.
