About this opportunity You will complete a Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with your Host Employer, NCIG. This opportunity is due to commence in January 2025.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
Spend your first 6 months undertaking a work readiness program that will provide hands on training and experienceAssist qualified tradespeople in the installation and maintenance of materials handling equipmentUndertake equipment diagnostic testing and repairsConduct inspections and find fault finding on equipmentUse handheld, battery operated and specialist tools of the trade to carry out tasksWork at a coal export terminalAssist in general duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence and ability of an apprenticeThe successful applicant To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge:
Commitment to both on and off the job trainingDemonstrated interest and passion for the Electrical industryPositive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledgeAbility to work in a team environmentStrong understanding of safety and manual handling techniquesStrong attention to detailCurrent drivers licence (P1 or above), or successfully obtaining by apprenticeship start date in January 2025.About Zeal Futures Zeal Futures provides the ultimate training and employment experience.
